EBSCO eBooks, not to be confused with EBSCO articles, is a collection of over 400,000 e-books. Unlike Ebook Central and Bloomsbury, which are focused solely on architecture and design, EBSCO eBooks offers books on a wide variety of subjects, from general humanities, sciences, and social sciences to the arts and architecture. This is a great place to look for research on non-design related topics (ex. for learning about health disorders or diseases as you design a healthcare facility).
To read an e-book in EBSCO eBooks, click on the book in the results. This will bring you to the book's record (see below), where you can see all of the book's information. Click PDF Full Text to open the book.
Once you are in the book, you will be able to:
Print using the Print to PDF button. Note that due to copyright, you are given a daily maximum number of pages that you can print. This maximum is per book (you can use the maximum in this book and will still be able to print from other books), and will eventually reset, allowing you to print more pages.
Search Within the book using the search bar to the left of the book. This will ensure that you find all of the sections with your keyword.
and Cite with the citation button. Remember that all quotes and paraphrased ideas MUST be properly cited.
