ASID Contracts: Home

NYSID Library brings you the 2018 American Society of Interior Design (ASID)'s Interior Design Residential and Commercial Contracts e-package! With this package, students and faculty will be able to view ASID's contracts for teaching and reference in classwork. These contracts are for academic purposes only.

ASID Contracts are housed in ResourceSpace: NYSID'S Digital Media Collections and can be accessed with your username and password. Once you're logged in, click on Academic Resources and then click on ASID Contracts.

From here, there are 5 documents available:

1. The 2018 Commercial Contract User Guide
2. The 2018 Residential Contract User Guide
3. The 2018 Commercial Interior Design Contract
4. The 2018 Residential Interior Design Contract and 
5. NYSID's Academic Use License, which outlines how and by whom the contracts may be used. 

Students and faculty are encouraged to use the ASID contracts, but only in an academic or classroom environment. The materials are for reference only and do NOT constitute legal advice. Neither NYSID nor ASID will be liable for any damages or losses from using these materials. If students or faculty wish to use ASID contracts outside of the classroom, they can visit ASID to purchase official or updated versions.
