Design Process: Finding Basic Information

Places to Look

You can find the basic information on your house online in two places. The first is Wikipedia, which is a great place to start initial research. The other is Credo Reference, a database that searches 100 eBooks simultaneously.

By looking at both sources, you should be able to find all the variations of the names, dates, and basic information about your architects . Remember that while useful for gathering basic information, Wikipedia should not be used or cited within your academic work.

In the example below, note the two versions of the name and geographic locations.
