Downloading and Sharing Media Assets from ResourceSpace
1. Navigate to the Folder to select assets 0:10

- Open ResourceSpace.
- Navigate to the 'Institutional Archives'.
- Locate and open the folder containing the desired media assets.
2. Download a Single Image 1:07

- Click on the desired media asset to open it.
- Review the information, including the resource ID and metadata.
- Locate the download options in the 'Resource Tools' section.
- Choose the desired resolution (e.g., high resolution) and format (e.g., JPEG).
- Click 'Download' to save the image.
3. Download Multiple Images 2:33

- Select multiple images by clicking on them or using shift-select to highlight an entire row.
- Access the action menu at the top of the page.
- Click on 'Download' from the drop-down menu.
- Choose the desired size and format options.
- Optionally, select to include metadata in a CSV file.
- Click 'Download' to create a zip file containing the selected images and metadata.
4. Share Images via URL 4:04

- Select one or more images to share.
- In the 'Resource Tools', click on 'Share'.
- Set access limits (e.g., open access, expiry date, password).
- Click 'Generate External URL'.
- Copy the generated URL for sharing via email or as a hyperlink.
5. Share Multiple Images via URL 5:59

- Select multiple media assets.
- Access the action menu and click 'Share Selected'.
- Set the same access limits as before.
- Generate and copy the URL for the collection.
Cautionary Notes
- Ensure you have the necessary permissions to download and share media assets.
- Be mindful of the expiry dates and access limits when sharing URLs to avoid unauthorized access.
Tips for Efficiency
- Use the search function with the resource ID to quickly locate previously downloaded images.
