Mid-Century Maestro: The Textiles of Boris Kroll: Online Articles

The Textiles of Boris Kroll

This exhibit is on view from October 2 to December 7, 2013 at the NYSID Gallery, 161 East 69th Street, New York City.  The exhibition showcases more than 80 textiles from Kroll’s archive, which was purchased in 1991 by Scalamandré, one of the country’s most prestigious producers of fine fabrics, wall coverings, and accessory products. The display of historic textiles, supported by photographs and documentary materials, showcases the extraordinary range and sophistication of the Boris Kroll collection and brings its rich history to life.
