Pink libraries are consortia libraries that NYSID students may check out books from with their NYSID IDs.
Purple libraries are open to you with a library card from that institution. You can check some materials out with your library card.
Yellow libraries require an appointment. You may not check out books to take home.
Blue libraries are not open to the public except with a METRO Referral card. If you need an item that isn’t available at a library you do have access to, a NYSID librarian can issue a METRO Referral card for one of these libraries. You may not check out books to take home.
