Scanners

The Library has two scanners for students to use:

  • The MDS BookScan flatbed scanner, which allows students to quickly scan books and documents as PDFs, JPEGs and TIFF files in color and black & white.  This scanner was purchased with the generous gift from the Class of 2012.
  • The KIC Bookeye overhead scanner, which captures two face-up pages of a book or flat documents up to 24.4” x 18”.  The KIC scanner captures scans in color, black & white, and grayscale and scans up to 600 dpi resolution.  This scanner was purchased in part through the generosity of Geoffrey Bradfield, Designer and NYSID Advisory Board Member.
